Should you wish your information to be removed or to be removed from our mailing list, please contact us via email on contact@jackbootle.com or click the 'unsubscribe' button and follow the prompts on our e-newsletters.

Payment Options

All credit card transactions are secured using 128 Bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption

Orders are only processed once full payment is received.

Payment via most methods will take 1-2 days for receipt of payment.

Order and Pay by Direct Deposit

We accept payment via Direct Deposit/ Electronic Funds Transfer. Please quote the invoice number when making payment to ensure we know you've paid. Without this, we cannot trace your payment and your order may not be processed. If you cannot include a reference when making payment, please email us at payment@jackbootle.com to let us know when and how you paid.

All amounts listed on the website are in Australian Dollars (AUD$) including shipping and any other costs. All material on this website is subject to change without notice, including pricing, shipping and other costs. Taxes and Duties

Overseas (non Australian) customers may have to pay local import duty and or taxes. Although for small values for personal use this is not usually the case, if in doubt, please check with your local authority before making a purchase. Payment of any taxes and duties is the sole responsibility of the customer and Jack Bootle cannot be held responsible for these in part or whole.

Shipping and Costs

Standard turnaround time from receipt of payment to delivery of your shirt(s) is four (4) weeks. For items such as cufflinks and ties that are not bespoke, standard turnaround time is 7-10 working days. Where another item or items are ordered with a shirt or shirts, all items will be delivered at the same time.

Delivery times may vary depending upon the items ordered and whether the billing and shipping information are accurate.

We will not be held liable for any loss incurred either directly or indirectly as a result of late delivery.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to release Jack Bootle and it's nominated carriers from any liability relating to any loss of, damage to, late delivery or non-delivery of goods ordered from our web site.

Australian Orders

In rural and regional areas of Australia, delivery times to final destinations may take longer than the standard 4 weeks for shirts and 7-10 working days for other items.

All items are sent via Australian Post, Registered Post Service

Parcels are generally delivered between the hours 8:00am - 5:00pm. If there is no one home at the time of delivery to receive and sign for the order, the parcel will be returned to the local Post outlet and a card left notifying you of its location. All orders require a signature upon receipt. For these reasons we suggest you provide a business address if no one is home during business hours. Please do not request that we leave the parcel unattended in any way, as we cannot fulfill this request.

Shipping within Australia cost $15 for the first item and $5 for each item thereafter, regardless of the size or style of the item.

International Orders

International postage will be calculated on a case-by-case basis, as the shipping charge is dependent on the weight of your order and the destination. Please proceed through the checkout process as normal (at checkout you will be charged the standard delivery fee for Australian orders), and we will contact you via email with the delivery options available and the additional costs.

Availability

All orders are subject to item availability.

If for any reason we are unable to fulfil your order we will contact you within 2 business days to arrange an alternative timeframe, product or a refund

Returns & Refunds

Jack Bootle will only accept returns if the item/s you have received are faulty.

In the event that this occurs, we will be happy to exchange or refund within 7 days of you receiving your order providing the product is returned to us in its original condition and undamaged, including the outer packaging. No claims received after this period will be accepted. An exchange will depend on stock availability. Please remember to provide us with your receipt as proof of purchase. It is highly recommended you provide us with your contact details (Phone, email, Postal Address) in the event we need to contact you. Please let us know you are returning your item/s, noting the problem and if you would like an exchange or refund. Email us at: contact@jackbootle.com We cannot be held liable for the cost of postage for returns. To ensure your item arrives safely back to us here at Jack Bootle, please express post or send your item/s via registered post. We will not be held liable for items lost in the post.

If a replacement is requested, Jack Bootle reserves the right to offer a refund in the event the item is out of stock or for any other reason at the sole discretion of Jack Bootle.

All Jack Bootle bespoke shirts are made individually by hand. As a result, a small tolerance in shape and size may occur however these should not result in any difference in the material enjoyment of the garment.

Due to the bespoke nature of the goods, we cannot offer refunds or returns for the following;

In the event that an error or omission is made when placing an order.
Should you change your mind regarding any given option, including, but not limited to - fabric, design, measurement or any other option available, subsequent to the order being placed. So, please choose carefully and review your order before proceeding to checkout.
In the case of minor shrinkage. All 100% cotton shirts shrink a little when washed (regardless of brand) and this should be taken into account in your measurements. The two most noticeable areas for shrinkage are the neck and arm length. You should allow ¼" shrinkage in the neck measurement and up to ¾" shrinkage in the length of the arms.
If the washing instructions are not followed and changes in size, shape, colour or any other changes occur as a consequence.
Should you change size or shape between the time you place your order and the time you receive your order.
We do not refund or exchange any sale items.
All fabrics are tested for colorfastness and will not run. Requests for refunds or return on the basis that a colour has run cannot be accepted.

Notes

Please note both standard features and specific features of each item when placing your order, such as but not limited to - fusing, collar bones and buttons - as returns and refunds will not be accepted for differences in taste regarding these items.

We are unable to make changes to your order once it has been placed.

None of the terms and conditions detailed here shall in any way infringe upon the rights and obligations set out in the Trade Practices Act 1974 or any other applicable laws in Australia. All disputes and legal matters shall be subject to the laws of the state of Victoria, Australia.

While all care has been taken in the accuracy of illustrations, line drawings are indicative only and seek to focus on the key elements of the design component in question. If in doubt, please contact us for clarification.

Tolerances

Jack Bootle's bespoke shirts are always made to the measurements given by you. If you choose body measurements, the measurements of a shirt are adjusted according to the fit selected by you (Traditional, Comfort, Slim, Ultra-Slim). If you choose the shirt measurements option, the measurements of your new shirt should be the same as on the original shirt, however, we can not guarantee that the seams and the design will be identical to the original shirt. Please note that sometimes there is an adjustment of 1/2 - 1 cm (1/4 - 1/2 inches) made. We can not guarantee that your shirt made to the measurements from our size chart will have a perfect fit. That is why we always recommend you use your personal measurements instead. Please note that sometimes there are visible pencil marks on our shirts and that these will dissolve after washing. We continuously strive to further improve the quality of our products and introduce new designs to our shirts and website. That is the reason why sometimes two shirts can differ a little, especially if they were ordered at different times. Shirts made from different rolls of fabric may differ slightly in shade due to normal variations in the dyeing process.

We reserve the right to make small alterations in allowances based on Chest-Waist-Seat measurements given in order to generate the most appropriate and proper cut possible.

Collars sit differently on different individuals depending on neck, chest, shoulders and collar bones, whether a collar is worn with a tie or not and the particular tie including the knot in the tie. As a result the quoted spread may vary when worn.
